Michele Wheeler


Michele Wheeler, AIA, NCARB, CDT, has practiced architecture and interior design for over 15 years, specializing in high-end custom homes and international hospitality projects. Michele is a graduate of the Dante Alegheri School in Florence in Urban Design and Architecture and Kent State University’s Architecture program. Certified in Construction Documents Technology (CDT) by the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), Michele possesses a rare combination of project management expertise and the ability to lead and manage any project team, all while keeping a strong grip on project revenues and expenses.

James Wheeler


James Wheeler, MBA, is a design industry consultant specializing in strategy, operations, and project feasibility. James holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business. Prior to working in the design industry, James garnered extensive business experience working for several Fortune 500 companies.

Alex Mauerhan

Interior Designer

Alex Mauerhan, BFA, is an Interior Decorator specializing in visual concepts and creative projects. Alex studied Painting and Drawing at the University of Utah in the Department of Art and Art History. As a Freshman, she was invited to exhibit at the Student Art Show. Alex has been featured in the Gittins Gallery, Alderwood Fine Art Gallery, and the Old Anthropologie Gallery and has received numerous awards and recognition from various art shows throughout her career. Alex studied Art and Art History in London, England with Brigham Young University.

Jodi Gray

Architectural Associate

Jodi Gray, BS in Architecture, is an Architectural Associate specializing in complex designs and technical projects.    Jodi studied Architecture at the University of Utah as well as SLCC. While in school, Jodi earned various awards for Design Exellence. After training with the Army Corps of Engineers, Jodi began her design career while being active duty in the United States Air Force.  A career that spans 15 years, Jodi brings this vast experience and background to Design Collective West and our projects.
